Theme Installation & Activate

Please Note!
Morvarid will only work with WordPress.ORG and not WordPress.COM.
Once downloaded, you must unzip the file Main-Morvarid.zip to access the morvarid.zip and morvarid-child.zip theme file you’ll need to install the theme. If you receive the missing style.css stylesheet error message, you have not unzipped and will need to do so before uploading the theme.
Upload the theme file
- Go to Appearance → Themes in the WordPress Dashboard
- Click on the Add New button
- Click on the Upload Theme button
- Click Browse and select current version of morvarid.zip in your computer
- Click Install Now
Do the same with morvarid-child.zip file
After theme installed successfully you can activate theme by clicking Activate on link as appear in your screen.
Manually activate theme
If you wish to activate manually
- Go to Appearance Themes in the WordPress menu
- Hover over the theme thumbnail and press the Activate button
Child Theme
A child theme is a theme that inherits the functionality and styling of another theme, called the parent theme. Child themes are the recommended way of modifying an existing theme.
Why use a Child Theme?
There are a few reasons why you would want to use a child theme:
- If you modify a theme directly and it is updated, then your modifications may be lost. By using a child theme you will ensure that your modifications are preserved.
- Using a child theme can speed up development time.
- Using a child theme is a great way to learn about WordPress theme development.
Child Theme Install
- Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
- Navigate to the Appearance > Themes menu.
- Click the Add New button on the top of the screen.
- On the next page, click the Upload Theme button on the top of the screen.
- Click the Choose File button to open up a dialog to browse your computer and navigate to Child Theme folder. Select the file morvarid-child.zip and click Install Now.
- Please wait a few seconds, WordPress will upload and extract the theme archive for you. All you need to do next is to press the Activate link under the message for successful theme installation.
- That's it! Now you can add custom CSS code and PHP functions.
How to use the child theme
- After install the child theme navigate to Wordpress admin panel.
- Navigate to the Appearance > Editor menu.
- In the section titled Templates, you will see a list of files that you can edit:
- functions.php - This lets you add additional functions, classes and hooks to WordPress theme without needing to alter the code within the functions file of the parent theme.
- style.css - This lets you add or change the theme styles (colors, sizes, fonts, backgrounds etc.) without needing to change the code within the style.css file of the parent theme.
- Select the file you want to change and add your PHP/CSS code in the editor on the left side.
- Click the Update File button when you're finished editing a file.
Plugin Installation
This theme requires the installation and activation of some plug-ins to add additional features and capabilities. If you want to use contact form, instagram, newsletter and demo import, you need to install the following plugins:
Kirki - Kirki allows theme developers to build themes quicker & more easily
One Click Demo Import - The best feature of this plugin is, that theme authors can define import files in their themes and so all you (the user of the theme) have to do is click on the “Import Demo Data” button.
Mailchimp for WordPress - This plugin helps you grow your Mailchimp lists and write better newsletters through various methods. You can create good looking opt-in forms or integrate with any existing form on your site, like your comment, contact or checkout form.
Contact Form 7 - Contact Form 7 can manage multiple contact forms, plus you can customize the form and the mail contents flexibly with simple markup. The form supports Ajax-powered submitting, CAPTCHA, Akismet spam filtering and so on.
Meta Box - Meta Box helps you add custom fields and details on your website such as pages, posts, forms and anywhere you want using over 40 different field types such as text, images, file upload, checkboxes, and more.
Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed - Display Instagram posts from your Instagram accounts, either in the same single feed or in multiple different ones.
WooCommerce - WooCommerce is the world’s most popular open-source eCommerce solution.
How to setup Contact Form

Create Contact Form
- Navigate to the Contact → Add New page in the WordPress admin.
- Enter a name for Contact Form
- Copy the code above into contact form
- Click the Save button.

Create Page Contact
- After Created Contact Form, copy the shortcode
- Navigate to the Pages → Add New page in the WordPress admin.
- Enter a name for Page
- Paste the shortcode in step 1 into the page content
- Click the Pulsish button.


How to setup Mailchimp

Create Mailchimp Form
- Navigate to the Mailchimp for WP → Form in the WordPress admin.
- Copy the code above into form code
- Click the Save Changes button.

Install Demo Content
Well, it's really simple.
If you're using the theme to build a new website which doesn't have content yet, I strongly recommend you to use the demo content files.
- Navigate to theAppearance → Import Demo Datain the WordPress admin
- Click the Import Demo Data button
Site Setting
You can manage theme options by navigating to Appearance → Customize → Site Setting.
- Typography: Setting color and typography for text body and heading
- Color: Setting background color, accent color
- Background Image: Setting background image for site

Site Header
You can manage theme options by navigating to Appearance → Customize → Header.
1. Site Indentity
- Upload Logo for site
- Enter the information for site: Site Title, Tagline
- Setting typography for site title and tagline
- You may can install hidden tagline
- Click the Published button.


2. Style Header
- Padding main header: set the top and bottom space for header
- Background color: set background color for header
- Show/hide Social: Configure to show/hide social on header
- Social color: Set color social icon for state normal and hover
- Show/hide Search Form: Configure to show/hide search form on header
- Color Search Form:
- Color Text: Set color text for text field
- Background: Set backgroud search form
- Icon color: Set icon color for button search
- Border width: Install it if you want more border for search form
- Border Color Search: to change the color of border form search

3. Main Menu
- Set backgroud color for Main menu
- Set border color for Main menu
- Set font, color for menu item of main menu
- Set font, color for menu item of sub menu
- Click the Published button.


Section Wellcome
You can manage theme options by navigating to Appearance → Customize → Section Wellcome Setting.
Welcome Content Tab
- Show/hide Section Welcome? : Configure to show/hide Section Welcome
- Welcome Image: Upload your image
- Welcome Name: Enter your name
- Welcome Title: Enter your title
- Welcome Text: Enter your description
- Show/hide Social Network? : Configure to show/hide social network in section welcome
- Click Published button

Welcome Style Tab
- Border Color Image : Set border color for image
- Border Color Frame Image: Set color for frame image
- Welcome Name Typography: Set font size and color for text name
- Welcome Title Typography: Set font size,font family and color... for text title
- Welcome Text Typography: Set font size and color... for text description
- Click Published button

Featured Posts
You can manage theme options by navigating to Appearance → Customize → Featured Posts Slide.
- Configure Show/hide featured posts
- Select post for featured post slide
- Click the Published button.

Blog Configs
You can manage theme options by navigating to Appearance → Customize → Blog Setting.
Blog Layout Tab
- Choose a layout blog style for page blog
- Configuration hide/shows sidebar on page blog
- Configure the number of posts on 1 page
- Click the Published button.

Blog Archive Tab
- Image Background Archive: if you want the banner of all page archive categories, tag... to have a separate image from other inner pages, please choose an alternative image here
- Choose a layout blog style for page archive
- Configuration hide/shows sidebar on page archive
- Configure the number of posts on 1 page archive
- Click the Published button.

Single Post Tab
- Configure to show/hide banner for page single post
- Set background image for page single post
- Hide/Show sidebar for single page
- Hide/shows relate posts
- Click the Published button.

Instagram Feed
- Install plugin Smash Balloon Instagram Feed
- Set widget Instagram Feed
- Instagram Footer :

num - The number of photos to display initially. Maximum is 33.
cols - The number of columns in your feed. 1 - 10.
imagepadding - The spacing around your photos
